All About Kabree

6 year pictures
We were blessed April of 2009 to have Kabree come into our lives. We loved her the second Spencer (her birthdad) brought her into the waiting room. She is a very busy, full of energy little girl. Kabree loves to read books and play with animals. She LOVES school and dance!  Kabree is a great big sister and is always looking out for others!

Jessi's Thoughts About Kabree
Kabree is so full of personality, I just love watching her learn and grow more every day.  I'm so grateful for Keri and Spencer for giving us this amazing opportunity.  Kabree loves to be doing things.  Playing with toys, doing crafts or going on an adventure!  This girl is definitely not a couch potato!!  One thing about Kabree is she loves so many things!  Kabree loves doing dance and I love watching her, seeing her face light up while she does it.  She loves spending time with her grandparents and cousins; both sides.  She loves animals!  She especially loves horses and her puppy Cleo.
Kabree filled a place in my heart I worried could never be filled.  I could go on and on about all of the things I love about this girl!  I love her so much and feel so blessed she calls me Mom.

Zach's Thoughts About Kabree
Kabree is the light in our house, she brings so much happiness. She is so excited about every new little thing. Although her favorite things are dance and animals.  Her little dances are so cute when the cell phone rings, music is playing or when the theme song to some T.V. shows come on. I enjoy watching her light up on the stage at her dance recitals and competitions.  I just love her smile, it brightens the whole house up. She brings that same smile every time that I come home and it just makes my whole day better. She loves to be on the go and for me that is great.  She is always willing to come work with me or just go on a little adventure. I am so grateful to have her in my life and being able to be her father. I am also grateful to Spencer and Keri for giving us the opportunity to be parents.
More About Kabree
We were very lucky and were able to be in the hospital the day Kabree was born. It was so amazing to see her first moments of life. Because at the time, we lived in the same town as Spencer and Keri we did placement at the hospital and were able to take Kabree home.

We were able to go to court August 2009 to have Kabree legally become ours. We invited pretty much everyone we knew we were so excited. We already felt like a family but it was so nice to know that the state officially saw us as a family too.

After we were done at court we went to Jessi's sisters house for a little pizza party to celebrate our court date and to celebrate her new little boy Justice who was born just the day before. After our pizza party we were able to go to the temple. We were sealed to Kabree that same day in the Idaho Falls, Idaho LDS temple. It was such a wonderful experience. Words couldn't express how it felt to be able to have our little girl be sealed to us. She did great at the temple and looked beautiful.
Kabree was then blessed by Zach Sunday. It was so fun for us to finally be able to experience all of these things that others were with their kids. We are very fortunate to have family live with in a few hours drive so they were able to share in all of our special days.

We are very fortunate to have an open adoption with Kabree's birthparents and have grown very close with them. Kabree has an older sister named Paedyn and a younger brother named Kallin that we just love seeing.  Even though they don't live close by are grateful we get to see them at least once a year.  We truly do consider them family and have such love and gratitude towards them.
