We were blessed April of 2012 to have Keagan come into our family. We of coarse fell in love instantly. Keagan is a full of energy, full of personality, busy 2 year old. Keagan loves to play with her big sister and her cousins. She loves baby dolls and to dance and sing around the house.
Jessi's Thoughts about Keagan
I just love watching Keagan learn and grow, she is like a little sponge, so eager to learn right now. I'm so grateful for Heather and Jesse for blessing us with her. She is such a beautiful girl on the inside and out. Keagan loves playing with her baby dolls, pretending to feed them and rock them to sleep. She is so sweet and loving when ever she see's a baby around town or at church she gets so excited and runs over to it and starts talk to it. She always wants to hold babys and pet their heads. She is always telling us she wants a baby brother or sister. She is going to be such a great big sister! Keagan is very girly! She LOVES Barbie, everything Barbie, dolls, movies, clothes, if it has Barbie involved she loves it!
Keagan melted our hearts the moment we saw her. There are so many things I could share about her that we love! I love her so much and feel so blessed she calls me Mommy.
Zach's thoughts about Keagan
I love this little monster. She is my little girl and is always so excited to see me when I come home. She is so smart and is always finding a new way to complete tasks. Sometimes this can be a little frustrating but it is fun to watch the wheels turn. She is a girly girl and loves Barbie. We were looking for boots for Kabree and she found pink sparkly "Barbie" boots. She was so excited! She loves her family so much and whatever Kabree does she wants to do. She loves her new dog and the dog loves her, even with the constant mauling of the dog. Babies are the next thing that this little girl loves. Where ever we go and see a child smaller than her, it is a baby and she wants to see it and hold it. I am so grateful to be her dad and for her birthparents for giving me this opportunity. I could go on but there is not enough room. I just love her so much!
More About Keagan
We were very fortunate to be very much a part of the last month of Heather's (Keagan's birthmom) pregnancy. Heather invited Jessi to the weekly doctors appointment and final ultrasound where we discovered Keagan was a girl!!! We also got to be in the hospital room the whole 24 hours of labor with Heather and Jesse (Keagan's birthdad). Zach and Jesse did leave the room for delivery but Jessi got to be there for the whole thing. It was such a humbling experience to be included.
Heather and Jesse lived in the same town as us at the time of placement so we once again did placement in the hospital. Bringing Keagan home to our waiting families and to her big sister Kabree's birthday party was so exciting and fun!
We were able to go to court May 2012 to have Keagan legally become ours. We again were so excited we invited so many people to join us!
We were able to have Keagan sealed to us June of 2012 in the Idaho Falls, Idaho LDS temple. After our sealing we drove back to our hometown, where Zach blessed Keagan. We were so blessed to have so many of our family and friends join us for Keagans special day! It was such a wonderful and spiritual experience to have both of our beautiful daughters with us in the temple.

We are very fortunate that Keagan's adoption is also open. Keagan's birthparents live in the same town as us which makes contact very easy. Keagan has an older sister named Annika and we just love seeing all of them. Because of everyone's busy schedules we only see Jesse and Heather once or twice a year but we really do love them so much and consider them family.
